Lectivo is published by De-Virtuosphere. This policy explains how the mobile app handles information you provide when you record lectures or sermons, write notes, or create study materials. Last updated September 30, 2026.

What we collect

We collect your account email, name and profile details you choose to provide; subscription status; recording audio, transcripts, notes, bookmarks and study cards you create; documents or photos you upload for study; and a device push token when you enable notifications. The app needs microphone access while you record. Some recording data is stored locally on your device so you can record without a connection.

How we use and process it

We use this information to sign you in, save your sessions, transcribe speech, generate notes and study cards, deliver notifications you allow, and manage your subscription. Audio and text may be processed by our configured speech and AI service providers, including Deepgram, Google Speech-to-Text, DeepSeek and TypeSafe, depending on the feature and availability. Firebase may process push notification tokens. If you buy a subscription outside a Play-distributed build, the payment provider processes payment details. Lectivo does not store your card number.

Sharing and security

We share information with service providers only to deliver the features you use. We do not sell your recordings or notes. We use authenticated access and encrypted network connections for app services. You are responsible for obtaining any consent required before recording other people.

Retention and control

Your content remains while your account is active unless you delete it. You can delete individual sessions in the app. To delete your account and associated recordings, transcripts, notes, cards, documents and profile data, use Me → Delete account and data, or follow our account-deletion instructions. Limited billing or security records may be retained where required by law.
